This sizeable project involved the construction of a replacement school for 110 special needs pupils on an existing, fully operational school site. This necessitated a complex phasing approach to allow the existing school to remain operational during construction works.
The package of works initially included 20 classrooms, school meals accommodation and all ancillary accommodation. The project quickly saw an increase in size, with an additional 5 classrooms added during the course of the works.
